The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and perfectionism with academic procrastination and investigate predictive validity of anxiety and perfectionism and interaction of them with gender to Academic Procrastination. Another goal of the research was to study the effects of gender and different entrance on Academic Procrastination. To achieve this aim, 310 subjects (157, boys and 153girls) were randomly selected through multiphase cluster sampling from Islamic Azad University of Mashhad. First of all, the Questionnaires of Lay academic procrastination and anxiety and perfectionism were administered to the subjects. The data were analyzed using, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, t-test and regression analyses. In general, the result of regression analysis showed that anxiety was significant predictor of Academic Procrastination. The results revealed That perfectionism, With different semester of studying Wouldn’t significantly predict The Academic Procrastination. Analyses of the data using one- way ANOVA indicated, there weren't significant differences among students groups of Semester of studying and fields of study in Academic Procrastination. Further more, there wasn't significant difference among boys and girls, in terms of the level of Academic Procrastination.
