The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Islamic lifestyle on family organization on marital intimacy in Arak. The method of this study was quasi experimental design with pre and post tests and control group. Statistical populations of this study include all of parents of elementary girl schools in Arak. The samples included 30 parents of elementary girl schools which selected randomly in two experimental and control groups. The instrument was intimacy questionnaire. Independent variable was Islamic life style training with emphasis on family organization that was trained to the experimental groups in seven sessions. Two independent sample t-tests were applied for data analysis by the SPSS software. The t-test results showed a significant difference between the mean overall score and the dimensions of intimacy (emotional intimacy, physical, recreational - social, relational, spiritual, psychological, sexual intimacy and overall) in two experimental group compared with the control groups, there was (P0/05). We are suggesting The use of this method in marriage and family counseling centers.
