The aim of this research was Construction of mental health scale for students. The population consisted all of Islamic Azad University students. The total number of 1000 students completed the questionnaire. Sample of 367 were selected. The coefficient of scale reliability and internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha was 0.91. To check the validity of the Mental Health Scale, Exploratory factor analysis was used. Eight factors were explained %60/98 of the total variance. Finally, 24 questions were acceptable with factor loadings. Confirmatory factor analysis results showed that students with mental health scale 24 Questions were able to question Eight Factors hope, their acceptance, environmental mastery, autonomy, purpose in life, Positive thinking, Self esteem and positive relations. This scale can measure the mental health of Iranian students.
