A comparative study of the relationship between marital stress and frigidity in employed and unemployed women in the age groups of 20-25 and 40-45 years
The present research was aimed at investigating the relationship between marital stress and Sexual frigidity among employed and unemployed women in the age groups of 20-25 and 40-45 Years, In Arak city. A causal-comparative research project was utilized to accomplish the study. The research sample, comprising 240 (128 sexually frigid and 112 normal ) women, was selected through random, multistage cluster sampling. Research instruments included questionnaire, the scale of change zones (consisting of 2 forms that measure both received and imposed marital stress ) and sexual dysfunction Inventory (consisting of 12 items ).Data analysis, using Pearson’s correlation coefficient, independent t and two-way analysis of variance, indicated that there was a positive, significant correlation between marital stress and sexual frigidity in women (r =.718, p
